Off the back of a highly successful App for Travel Republic, dnata Travel wanted a piece of the pie. We had a shorter time frame and a different business module to comply with.
I had to refactor the UX and have this presented to the board. The dnata Travel board were ecstatic about the UX I had created and had heard the news on how successful Travel Republic's App had been. They trusted the design and gave the build the green light. The UI was given a re-skin, I created a new animated splash screen, a new boiler plate of icons, new high fidelity screen designs, prototypes plus the animated loading screens (there was a lot to do in a short amount of time!). The UX had to be addressed and given more focus on how we can make this into a more premium product, the market and demographics of a dnata Travel user differs in comparison to a TR user.
The dnata Travel App was released to the iTunes market in early February 2015 closely followed by the Android App.
